• My little girl is sick....

  How terrible it is when your little one is sick and not feeling good!  It just breaks my heart!  Katelyn has been kind of puny today and just started running a fever later into the night.  She has a little cough but mainly just whiney and sleepy.  Nothing soothes her better than laying on her Daddy's chest. 

   

  We met Dr. Blakeny at the office today and she said she has another ear infection.  What is so amazing is that she just checked her ears on Wednesday when we were in for a flu shot and they were all clear.  Friday she was happy and feeling fine and then Saturday she turned puny.  So...we're on another round of antibiotics.  I don't like it when she is sick.

  Katelyn has discovered the coffee table...

  Last week it finally happened...Katelyn has figured out the crawl and now is into EVERYTHING!  She especially likes the things that she is not supposed to be into!  I knew it would happen sooner or later and sure enough she has found the coffee table and loves it under there!

   

   

  Katelyn and the best $10 I ever spent!

  You've probably heard me say how much she loves her jumper.  I found this little jewel at the consignment sale for only $10 and it has paid for itself 1,000 times over!  She absolutely loves it!  Bart and I actually get to eat meals together because of this.  She gets in there during meal times and just has a ball while we eat.  Here are some pics and video.

   

  Okay, I know I'm a dork.  I shot the following video up and down not realizing it would not turn on the screen.  I guess it's the photographer in me.  You would think I would learn by know that this does not work with video.  Anyhow, it's still cute and you get the picture...

  Play Date with Anna 1.5.05

  My friend Ashley's little girl, Anna, came to hang out with us on Thursday while Ashley had to run some errands.  The girls had a wonderful time together!  So much fun that they wore themselves slap out!  Here's what I found when I came to check on them...

  

  Katelyn and the Mashed Bananas...

  Ashley kept Katelyn on Friday for me while I ran some errands.  They decided to have some bananas for a snack.  Boy was that a mistake!  Ashley told me that Katelyn had a ball rubbing them all in her hair and mashing them on her tray.  Apparently a few pieces actually made it to her mouth.    It was definitely bath time after this little adventure!

   

  Fun with Friends

  On Friday we went over to DaLee's house for Paula's birthday dinner with friends.  DaLee made some awesome salmon crochets.  Yum!  It was fun watching the kids interact with one another.  My how things have changed!! Below is Jonathan (10 1/2 mo), Katelyn (7 1/2 mo), and Will (4 1/2 mo).  They are each 3 months apart almost exactly.  I really hope they grow up to be close friends!  What fun that will be!

   

  Well my baby girl is up from her nap and needs some mommy time.  That's all for now!
